Leasing a Piece: Kason Industries
Building on previous work we’ve done, It’s Better with Kason, I’ve moved on to helping Kason manage their social media channels. Like many mid-sized businesses, the company cannot dedicate a full-time staffer to this task, and it is unwise to overload already busy staff members, splitting their roles such that they can’t effectively do either.
It’s this gap that Kason turned to me with. By staying very focused and relying on a solid plan, we have been able to keep up with a campaign and build on the good works the communication team is already doing without causing disruption or chaos.
As with all media programs, planning and editorial calendar are key. Social, in particular, lends itself to a fine balance of planning and ad hoc opportunities that require both focus and agility. Currently, we are managing 4 channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter) and are slowly watch engagement creep up.
