IABC Atlanta President's Award

I have served as VP of Recognition for IABC Atlanta for many years now. I’ve lost count… I am very proud of what our chapter does and I have a passion for the awards program. All year long, there is something to be done to make it a success for our members. In the Winter it’s promotion and judge recruiting. In the Summer it’s award entry, gala planning and judging. And, finally in the Fall, it’s the gala event.

All along the way, we are relying on the dedication and contribution of volunteers who take time from their lives to help our members improve their skills. It takes a lot of writing, talking and encouragement to keep everyone on task.

This is why I truly appreciate the President’s Award from the chapter. It is a lot of work AND it is appreciated. This will mark the second President’s Award I have been given as VP of Recognition. I hope to do enough good works for our community to earn a third!
